Annelise Capossela is an illustrator living, working, and teaching in NYC. Originally from Vermont, she believes in simple, meaningful storytelling. She received her BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, and her MFA from School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has won awards from American Illustration, Society of Illustrators LA, and Applied Arts.
Select clients include The New York Times, The New Yorker, NPR, VICE, Global Citizen, TASTE, Lenny Letter, Longreads, Middlebury Magazine, Sacramento Magazine, and Family Circle Magazine. Her work has appeared in TeNeues' Everyone Loves New York, and UPNE's What Are the Arts and Sciences? A Guide for the Curious.
Annelise has shown work in such gallery spaces as One Art Space Tribeca and Gowanus Print Lab, as well as internationally in Saint-Remy de Provence, France, and in Athens, Greece.
